How far does Radisson Catering travel?
To provide the freshest food and the highest quality of service, we travel to venues, private residences, and corporate offices within one hour radius* of our kitchen at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Downtown Kalamazoo. Absolutely! There is a $100 tasting fee for menu tastings before signing a contract. If you choose to book Radisson Catering, that amount will be applied towards the final bill!
Can we taste the food, before we choose our final menu items?

Can you accommodate vegetarians and/or vegans?
Yes! We love to showcase our creative vegetarian and vegan entrees.
What type of food allergies can you accommodate?
Our Executive Chef and Wedding Specialists will work with you to accommodate any food allergies and special dietary needs. The majority of our existing menus already accommodate gluten free needs. We also routinely design menus to eliminate top allergens like tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, shellfish, etc.
Can a separate children’s meal be provided?
Children 12 and under can be served a separate children’s meal, or charged half price for the same adult meal.
How many servers will be provided?
1 server per 30 guests will be provided for a buffet style meal and 1 server per 20 guests for a plated or family style meal.
Is there an additional service charge?
All pricing is subject to an additional 25% service charge and applicable Michigan tax.
How long will you be at the event?
Our catering service includes up to 2 hours of set up and 2 - 4 hours of service. Service time depends upon menu selections made.
What type of uniform does the staff wear?
Our catering staff arrives in professional attire consisting of black pants, black dress shirt, black vest, and a tie. If you prefer a more casual feel, our staff can also arrive in a Radisson Catering black polo shirt and black pants.
Bartenders can be provided at your event for $350 per bartender for up to 4 hours. Additional hours are available upon request - please connect with your event specialist for more information.

Is there a wedding cake cutting fee?
We include wedding cake cutting service at no additional cost.
Are linens included?
Linen napkins are included in our services. We do provide table linens at select venues in the Kalamazoo area.
What type of glassware, plates, and flatware are provided?
We include bone white china for your appetizer, salad, and dinner plate, with silverware. A water goblet for water service throughout dinner will also be provided.
Can you provide plastic-ware for a more casual setting?
Absolutely! You can choose standard plastic-ware or upgrade to eco-friendly, biodegradable plateware.
Do you provide drop off catering?
If you are just looking for a delicious meal but without the extra services, we are happy to drop off only. Disposable containers, napkins, plates and flatware will be included. The 25% service charge will be waived and a delivery fee will apply. Delivery fee depends upon distance.
When is our final count and payment due?
The final guest count and final payment are due 7 days prior to the event.
